The ITIL® implementation consists of use and application of standard, steady-state and time proven methodologies (technological, process, organizational recommendations) that are associated with specific and particular requirements of the organization. The implementation of ITSM according to ITIL® standards in the organization enables to define the required procedure for the overall sequence of steps to be taken in these cases in order to achieve the desired benefits, savings and risk reduction associated with the application of ITIL® within and outside of the organization.
The basic assumption for the successful implementation of ITIL® is a balance between three key elements: "People - Processes - Tools", that the functioning of any organization is based on it and the way of its interaction must create a synergistic unit, when the IT needs are unified and work together. This condition is often difficult to achieve, but in this case, the application of standard and recommended practices simplifies IT operations, but also the operations of the organization as a whole.
For the best use of this approach is important the systematic process that will not only build on the general recommendations of this technology standard, but also mainly on the given situation and organization layout or its environment.
